with a Gallery Night Reception & Presentation and
student performances May 18, at 5-9pm
The mixed media exhibit features more than 350 artworks by K-12 students from public and charter schools throughout the state, and the honored selection of CHARIHO Public Schools for the Gift of Art to the State of Rhode Island – adding 9 new works to the permanent collection of more than 200 works – due to their extraordinary work in the visual and performing arts in the CHARIHO schools, and their efforts to integrate the arts into the curriculum across disciplines. The Rhode Island Alliance for Art Education and the Gift of Art began as a funded part by the Kennedy Center Alliance for Art Education.
