Owner of Paper Connection International, LLC  Lauren Pearlman Sugita maintains a dual residence between Rhode Island and Japan, making herself and her expert staff at Paper Connection a valuable resource regarding the technical properties of handmade, fine art paper. Paper Connection’s products are used not only for fine artwork, but also used for restorative and archival applications.

In addition to her vast knowledge of the paper arts, Lauren is an avid collector of world folk art.  Her frequent travels between the United States and Asia have contributed largely to her collection.
