Dominic Molon is the Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art at the RISD Museum (Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design), Providence, Rhode Island. He previously served as the Chief Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (2010-2013) and as Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (1994-2010). He has organized numerous exhibitions, including solo presentations of Leslie Hewitt (2012), David Noonan (2011), Susan Philipsz (2011), Liam Gillick (2009), and Wolfgang Tillmans (2006) as well as the group exhibitions “Place is the Space” (with architect Brad Cloepfil, 2013), “Production Site: The Artist’s Studio Inside-Out” (2010) and “Sympathy for the Devil: Art and Rock and Roll Since 1967” (2007). He is currently organizing a mid-career survey of British artist Martin Boyce to open at the RISD Museum in Fall 2015. Molon has contributed to monographs and publications on Karin Mamma Anderson, Elmgreen/Dragset, Karen Kilimnik, and Muntean/Rosenblum.
