The Peaceable Kingdom Celebrates Losar On Gallery Night!

Peaceable Kingdom

The folks at Peaceable Kingdom will continue to celebrate Losar (Tibetan New Year) on Gallery Night, March 20, 2014, 5 – 9 p.m.   Not only can you see amazing shrines, thangkas (scroll paintings) ghau (prayer boxes),  and other Tibetan art but you can also strike a gong, ring a bell, learn how to make a singing bowl sing AND partake of the traditional Gutkut, the soup served on their New Years Eve.  This soup is made with nine different ingredients and has dumplings that have nine different symbolic centers that will ‘predict’ your new year.  For some delicious fun please join us.
